Richard White, CSCS, USAW / Performance Trainer
Rich has been a strength and conditioning professional for 7 years. He graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Coaching. He began his career at the National Strength and Conditioning Association where he worked with Colorado College Hockey, University of Colorado at Colorado Springs Volleyball, and a wide variety of tactical and Olympic athletes.
After leaving Colorado, Rich spent one season with the Kansas City Royals organization as a strength and conditioning coach in their minor league system. His professional resume also includes stints with Prior Lake High School and Burnsville High Schools (Minn.), the University of Nebraska-Omaha, Explosive Edge Athletics (Minn.), as well as current writing responsibilities with prepvolleyball.com and performancecondition.com and program consultant with Surface Volleyball Club (Minn.).
For the past two years he has been a strength and conditioning coordinator for Northern Lights Junior Volleyball Club. Currently, Rich is a Graduate Assistant strength and conditioning coach at Concordia-St. Paul University where he works with all varsity sports and is pursuing a degree in Sports Management. He is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a certified sports performance coach through USA Weightlifting.
